Work Management Analysis

Make optimum decisions by understanding the status of your work management practice

Work management is the assurance that the right work is undertaken on the assets at the right time with minimum risk and at optimal cost.  Our asset data analysis will generate a suite of reports to inform the organisation if the work is being undertaken in the right way and managing down risk in the assets.

The analysis will provide reporting on a range of standard work management metrics:

  1. Comparison of reactive to proactive work balance
  2. Response times
  3. Schedule compliance
  4. Backlog risk and cleansing opportunities
  5. PM completion rates
  6. Information system usage statistics (including what information is being captured, i.e. cost, labour hours, material etc)

Unlock the power of informed decision making based on your asset data

Our advanced data analytics platform and expert engineering capability will provide maximum insight about the health of your work management practice based on your data, no matter the information system or how poor or limited that data appears to be at first sight. With our approach using a combination of machine learning, expert engineers and heuristic and meta-heuristic analysis, low-quality data is utilised to provide insightful and powerful reports designed to optimise the specific decisions which need to be taken by a range of stakeholders.

So how does it work and what do you get?

Extract data from your information systems

We will work with your teams to extract the required data fields from your information systems. To assist in this process, we will provide you with data extract requirement and templates. The data that we will require is both master data and transactional data.

The minimum data required for the analysis is:

  • Location / asset / equipment registers master data; and
  • Work order data.

We also process other data sources for enhanced outcomes. These are but not limited to:

  • Work requests or notifications;
  • Operator logs;
  • Downtime logs;
  • Asset utilisation systems; and
  • Condition monitoring data

Data transfer

We utilise ShareFile by Citrix, a secure encrypted data transfer service for data transfer and secure storage at rest. This enables your team to securely transmit the data to us without limits to file sizes.

Work management data analysis

This analysis will provide the client with insight into the performance of its current maintenance and asset management approach. This will inform the client on how they will need to engage its work force (contractor or other) in the future. The Example below shows two of the standard reports, schedule compliance and backlog risk.

Schedule Compliance Reporting Example

Schedule compliance is a key work performance metric where better than 85% means that the maintenance teams are in control of their work schedules and operations are confident the work is being completed on time.

Backlog Risk Reporting Example

Backlog risk is a measure where the difference between the current date at the time of the analysis and when the job was first raised. When the duration of the job in backlog is compared to its original priority the risk can be determined and reported as an operations management issue.

Reporting

We will provide a comprehensive report which will allow you to work with your teams to investigate specific asset performance issues identified. The time frame from receipt of data to the issue of the report is between 2 to 3 weeks. We can provide this type of in depth work management practice reporting very quickly due to our proprietary software which we have developed over 20+ years, our experienced engineers and analytical processes.
