Covaris Quality Policy
Covaris documents, implements and maintains a Quality Management System
and continually improves its effectiveness in accordance with the requirements
of the ISO 9001 International Standard. Covaris Pty Ltd is committed to
providing a leading edge range of services and technologies in the broad
area of asset management, focusing on planning and management of assets,
maintenance systems and equipment based safety.The company will observe
the guidelines are requirements of the Quality Management System in all
of its endeavours, both those concerning matters of internal administration
and those dealing with external organization.
The Quality Management System shall be continuously reviewed and strengthened
to the benefit of the company, all stakeholders and client base.
The basis for review and improvement of the Quality Management System
shall be the following principles:
• Are people aware of the requirements and responsibilities of their
position, and all tasks associated with that
position?
• Are the key objectives of safety first, ethical behaviour and
company development best met by the current
quality guidelines?
• Are all commitments made by Covaris, whether in projects for clients,
development of people or internal
improvements or administration projects well planned, scheduled according
to available resources and
managed to occur in a timely and efficient manner?
• Is company growth and development in its capabilities, knowledge
holdings and deployable services best
met by the current quality guidelines?
The Quality Plan is communicated to all stakeholders of the company including
personnel, suppliers and contractors, partners and associates, and clients.”
Covaris senior management ensures that the Quality Policy:
• Is appropriate to the purpose of the Quality Policy
• Includes a commitment to comply with the requirements and continuously
improve the effectiveness of the
Quality
Management System
• Provides a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives
• Is communicated and understood within the organization
• Is reviewed for continuing stability
Covaris:
• Identifies the processes needed for the Quality Management System
and their application throughout the
company
• Determines the sequence and interaction of these processes
• Determines criteria and methods needed to ensure that both the
operation and control of these processes are
effective
• Ensures the availability of resources and information necessary
to support the operation and monitoring of
these processes
• Monitors, measures and analyses these processes
• Implements actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual
improvement of these processes
These processes are managed by the organization in accordance with the
requirements of the ISO 9001 International Standard. Where Covaris chooses
to outsource any process that affects project conformity with requirements,
Covaris ensures control over such processes. Control of such outsourced
processes are identified within the Quality
Covaris has established and maintains a Quality Manual that includes:
• The scope of the Quality Management System, including details
of and justification for, any exclusions
• Reference to documented procedures established for the Quality
Management System
• A description of the interaction between the processes of the
Quality Management System
